Program’s overview:

Goals are broad and focus on the ultimate result an organization wants to contribute to at the long term (3-5 years), while objectives are the desired results which can be achieved in the short term (1-3 years).

Objective should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bounded (SMART). From the previous SWOT analysis, the following are NECCCRW's strategic goals and objectives:-


Program purpose:

Contribute to empower the local community ability to advocate its issues with the inspiration of achieving justice, community empowerment and development




(1) Intensify networking and coordination with local, regional, and international organizations to defend the rights of vulnerable Palestinians.

(2) Raise the awareness of youth and vulnerable groups toward the civil society concepts and issues.

(3) Influence decision and policy makers to adopt the concerns of marginalized people.


Identity Of The NECCCRW - Gaza
The Gaza Area Committee is part of the Department of Service to the Palestine Refugee (DSPR). The DSPR is a department of the Middle East Council of Churches.

NECCCRW Gaza is an integral part of the Palestine Society and culture and operates with the support of the Churches, ecumenical and secular organizations.

The Committee is formed of committed and dedicated volunteers who are appointed by the heads of the Churches of the respective families forming the four family members of MECC on equal Church representation.

The Gaza Area Committee serves the Palestinian people irrespective of religion, faith, political affiliation, geographical locality, gender or creed. It is part of Christian commitment to our society and a source of strength for the continuation of the indigenous Christian witness and presence in the region.
