Prof. Dr. Mirjam Van Reisen from Holland made a visit to Gaza Strip.

Prof. Dr.Mirjam Van Reisen, who holds the Endowed chair of International Social Responsibility at the Tilburg University and is a director of EEPA (Europe External Policy Advisors) from Holland, visited Gaza Strip. The objective of this visit is to evaluate ICCO’s strategy within the CT program in the Middle East; to determine its features, to describe and assess its methods and the roles ICCO plays, to analyze its strong and weak points, to describe and qualify achieved results, resulting in clear conclusions. On behalf of Near Middle East Council of Churches (NECCCRW), Dr. Issa Tarazi , NECC Executive Director , received in an official welcoming, Prof. Dr. Mirjam Van Reisen , briefed on NECC objectives and achievements. During this visit, she paid a special visit to NECC Clinics in Shijaia and Rafah areas, including its programs: Well-Baby Services, Pharmacy, Nutrition, antenatal and postnatal care, Family planning, and psychosocial Program … She visited also NECC Vocational Training Centers including: Advanced Dressmaking Center, Secretarial Studies and English Language Center, Gaza VTC’s for Carpentry and Furniture Making / Alluminum and metal Works, and El Qarara VTC for Electricity and Motor Rewinding. Furthermore, she made a tour in Beach Camp and briefed about people conditions there. At the end of the visit, from our side she appreciated NECC hard efforts.
