“Monitoring and Evaluation “ Training workshop at NECC/DSPR- Gaza, from 10 to 13 June .

NECC/DSPR-Gaza conducted “Monitoring and Evaluation “training workshop held in Gaza City, NECC Premises, from 10 to 13 June, 2014. This Workshop was funded by Act for Peace –Australian Aid; thanks to their support. The focus of the workshop was specifically on strengthening Monitoring of NECC Programs. It aims to provide NECC Staff with the skills and confidence to plan and conduct an effective monitoring using appropriate technique. In the end of the workshop all participants are able to explain the purpose of monitoring, the differences between M&E, to design and plan performance management plan selecting appropriate indicators for outcome, output, input,  and process , to assess data sources, collection methods , and to analyze data using appropriate tools.  The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Bassam Abu Hamad , Health Consultant. The trainer guided us through 4 -days of presentations, exercises and group work on how to set up Monitoring performance, data collection methods, participatory approach  techniques, data analysis and monitoring reporting. A lively group of participants made for many interesting questions and passionate discussions. All present showed a real sense of commitment to, and the importance of, strengthening monitoring of NECC for all programs.
