Program’s overview:
Near East Council of Churches Committee
for Refugee work (NECCCRW) core stone is the health program; as NECCCRW
believes that good health is essential to human welfare and to sustained
economic and social development.
The program launched in 1952 to provide adequate health care services, and to
assess and improve the quality of health care to Palestinian refugees in the
Gaza Strip. It describes the health status and health services of the
Palestinian population living in the Gaza Strip.
The health program aims at delivering health services around people’s needs and
expectations. The provided health care services try to meet the main health
problems in the Palestinian vulnerable society in an equal manner to all
individuals irrespective of their gender, age, caste, color location and,
social class and political affiliation.
Along with the primary health services, NECCCRW provides psychosocial support
to women and children to create physical and emotional healthy environment.
